UK, Vatican And Australia Government Official Emails Are Part Of The Ashley Madison Data Released

The Ashley Madison hackers have dumped the data of clients on the website to the internet. The data was released yesterday, and had caused panic and divorce lawyer will be making a lot of income this year.

     

 

The hack happened in July, and a lot of Ashley Madison had hoped that the hack did not see the light of the day until recently when the hackers released the data that includes;

Username

First and Last Names

Email addresses

Hashed passwords

Partial Credit Card data

Street Names

Phone Numbers

Records documenting 9.6 Million Credit Card Transactions

The hackers had demanded that the website be shut down or the data will be leaked, but since ALM has decided to meet up with the demands, the data was leaked

 Avid Life Media has failed to take down Ashley Madison and Established Men," the hackers released a statement with the leaked data. "We have explained the fraud, deceit, and stupidity of ALM and their members. Now everyone gets to see their data.

The leaked emails contains more than 15,000 of US government and military officials using the  .Gov and .Mil top-level domains.

Other govenment officials in the cheating scandal are the Vatican, the British and the Australian officials. A user on Twitter posted the screenshot of some of the leaked emails and database queries, showing the numbers of people with government top-level domain, using the Ashley Madison website.

               

The FBI, alongside the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and local police are currently investigating the hack, Avid life media, parent company of Ashle Madison said in a statement.
