PDP Led Government In Bauchi State Have No Future Plans For The State, As State Treasury Was Completely Empty

The newly sworn-in Bauchi state governor, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, in his state when addressing the state after he was sworn-in that the state treasury is completely empty. The statement was disclosed yesterday at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, after the governor took the oath of office administered by the State Acting Chief Judge, Justice Rabi Talatu Umar .

                       

The governors in his speech promised to releases all facts and figures of the state treasury, telling the people of the state that the:

     the state coffers are completely empty

The governor said it is now clear that the PDP government that had ruled the state for 16 years had no plans for the state.

The governor appealed to the traditional, religious and community leaders in the state to educate their people on the current economic situation in Bauchi.

   The people will have to give us time to correct all wrongs perpetrated by the PDP administration. The people have to understand and be patient with us because it’s not going to be an easy task.I want to assure the people of Bauchi State that we are equal to the task of bringing the state out of the woods.”
