A chef is on the run after the dog meat he served killed no fewer than 5 people in Rivers state, Nigeria. The incident happened at an eatery in Woji, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State popularly known for serving dog.
Friday Dickson, alias Etiaba is known for cooking dog meat in the Woji area, and he has been cooking to everyone's satisfaction in the area for a long time. But recently, 5 members of the community who ate from Etiaba restaurant died after he had served them the dog meat delicacy.
A member of the community, Mr Brian Ogbondah, who spoke with newsmen said the incident led to an emergency meeting of council chiefs and elders in the community, and they are currently trying to ask other community members that had the dog meat on the day of the incident.
At the time of this report, Etiaba had been on the run.
