147 People Dead At Kenya University, Christians Are Shot Dead On Sight

Garrissa, Kenya : The death toll of people killed in the Garrissa University has now risen to 147. Five men from Al-Shabab had attacked the school in the early hours of yesterday, shooting sporadically into the student dormitory. 

The men were shooting students, and also taking hostages. The students run for their life as the attacker shoots with their AK47, showing no mercy. The 147 dead are students of the university college, 2 security guards, a police officer and 1 soldier.

The men battled the troops of Kenyan security forces for 13 hours, and later strapped bombs to their body. When the Kenyan forces swoop in heavily on them, the men blow up, causing the shrapnel to injure security forces.

According to one of the survivors, the men had entered the school and shouting "Sisi ni al-Shabab", which means We re Al-Shabab. They will enter each dormitory and ask if any Christians are hiding inside the dormitory , Christians are shot on-sight.

The Kenyan military came to the rescue mission of some students, while some fled through the barbed wire in the school, injuring them.

Addressing the nation, the Kenyan President said  :

   I am saddened to inform the nation that early today, terrorists attacked Garissa University College, killed and wounded several people, and have taken others hostage

Police have identified the mastermind of the attack and have currently placed a bounty of $220,000 for any information to get him. His name is Mohammed Mohamud, also known as Dulyadin and Gamadhere and Ahmed Iman from Majengo slums in Nairobi. Mohammed was a teacher in one of the Islamic religious schools. He had claimed responsibility for a bus attack in Makka, Kenya that killed 28 people.
