Japanese Company, Robot Taxi To Introduce A Driverless Car Service Come 2020

Robot Taxi Inc, a Japanese company is to introduce its own driverless car service in 2020. The company announced it will begin to test its self-driving car in 2016 and the car should be fully ready in the 2020 summer Olympics in Tokyo. The testing of the car in 2016 will allow the self-driving car take simple routes and drive people from their home to get groceries.

                  

Robot taxi is putting emphasis on elderly Japanese people to allow mobility of the old people and live a better and stress free life, as the country has one of the highest elderly populations in the globe. The driverless car will also help people with disabilities and visitors coming to Japan, and the goal for the car to commence service is 2020.

The service will need to jump a lot of regulatory bodies and also have a strong government back. It also needs to be cleared that it will be safe for the public and also the technology will need to be flawless. 

Aside from the Japanese companies, the fight to bring self-driving cars to our road is also been done by various German and USA automakers.
