Iker Casillas Saves The Day As Porto Wins Valencia In Penalty Shoot-Out

Iker Casillas has proved that he still got good saves within him as the former Real Madrid legend turns into a hero in a penalty shootout between his new team, Porto and Valencia in the Colonia cup.

The two sides had played a full 90 minutes at the  RheinEnergie Stadion in Cologne and had been locked into 0-0. The penalty was also in a tie as both teams keep netting their penalties, until Bruno Martins Indi put Porto at 5-4 and Casillas denies the unlucky Joao Cancelo.

While speaking after the match, Casillas said :

The team did well defensively, we had control of the ball and we're pleased with the performance," Casillas told the club's official TV channel after the match. It's good to get a win in pre-season to create a winning mentality.
I'm very grateful to the fans. I can only try to return the support with good performances and by keeping winning with Porto.
